TR Kahanu places 5th in the Nation
Team Rider Kahanu has been away from her home and in CA for the past month and it has paid off! She placed 5th in the nation and was voted Rookie of the Year.

Now she is home and preping for the Women’s 6th Star Qualifying Series in Oceanside. To do that she competed in the Quiksilver Pro Am Trials and took 1st place in the Women’s Open which gained her an entry in the Women’s pipeline contest.
Kahanu also just finished the Jr. Lifeguard program and competed in the Big Island Lifeguard Challenge where she took 1st in Paddle boarding and 3rd in Flags. This earned her a spot of the State Championships which take place this Saturday 7/ 28…If you are in Oahu and want to enjoy the sun, beach and some good competition stop by and support Kahanu!!
